GENERAL RULES

  • STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN SCHOOL BY 8.45 A.M.
  • If a Student fails to reach the school on time he / she will have to stay in the evening till 5.00 p.m. and should complete the work set.
  • Frequent late-comers may even be sent home.
  • There is a daily congregational prayer in the morning at 8.50 a.m.
  • Every student shall keep his / her person and clothes clean and tidy. He / She shall keep the Class premises neat and clean.
  • No student shall leave the school premises during the working hours unless specially by the principal.
  • All Text Books and Note Books should be neatly covered and labelled.

School Timing

The School will work from Monday to Friday. 8.45 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. PTA Meetings, Intra School activities and special seminars would be conducted on Saturdays. The Lunch Break will be from 12.20 p.m. to 12.50 p.m.

  • Attendance on re-opening days after terminal and annual holidays is compulsory.
  • It is compulsory for students to attend all school functions like Annual Day, Sports Day etc.
  • No pupil should absent himself / herself without prior permission except in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Application for leave of absence shall be made on behalf of the pupil by his / her parent or guardian addressed to the Principal.
  • Students must produce a medical / fitness certificate when returning to school after a period of illness.
  • In case of sudden illness / unavoidable circumstances, pupils requiring leave for any part of the day should obtain permission from the Principal and inform the class teachers.
  • Students will not be sent home immediately after they write their assignments, unit tests or exam. In case they require leave on the health grounds and have opted to write the test, they are required to stay for half-a day.
  • A Student is expected to attend school for not less than 95% of working days. Any breach of this rule can affect promotion to a higher class or the student may not be allowed to appear for Public Examination.
